Step-By-Step Instructions


  1. Login to your RefReps Instructor account (https://learn.refreps.com/login)

  2. On the lefthand side under “Communication”, click on “Send Notification”

  • Within “Send Notification” you can do the following:
  • View past messages sent
  • The groups messages were sent to
  • Who read the message
  • Delete old messages
  • Create New Notification


3. Navigate to “Create New Notification” to compose a message.

  • Within “Create New Notification”, the following information is required:
    • The subject
    • Your message
    • Select the audience
    • Optional Actions
    • Send email in addition to notification being sent. 
    • Schedule the notification.

4. Click “Send Notification” to post message to the selected audience.


Notes: Notifications for instructors and learners can be found within the bell icon located in the top-right corner.

The RefReps Notifications functionality can be utilized in numerous ways to help strengthen instructor involvement within the learners officiating education process. Below we have provided a list of different ways hundreds of instructors across the nation have utilized the Notifications functionality in their instructing role.

    • Class start date reminder
    • Class completion deadline
    • Assignment distribution
    • Class schedule updates
    • Sharing local news or opportunities with learners
  2. Instructors now look to their notifications bell for RefReps updates on the following:
    • Learners being added to your roster
    • Learner course completions
    • Learner exam completions
    • Instructor portal updates
    • Learner portal updates
    • Course updates
    • Supplemental pack updates
    • News
